YAS Work Hosts Screening of “For the Love of Strippers” and Live Panel on Ethical Media Representation

Panelists Sensual Radiance and Daisy Ducati will reflect after the film with a discussion “Ethical Media, With or Without Us”

Online via Kinema – April 10, 2026

YAS Work, a sex worker-led nonprofit centered on advocacy, media, and storytelling, will host a special virtual screening of For the Love of Strippers followed by a live panel discussion on Friday, April 10. The event—Ethical Media, With or Without Us—brings together the film’s stars and leading voices in sex worker advocacy to examine who gets to tell stories about sex work, and at what cost.

The film features NatsHoney and Selena. Following the screening, panelists Sensual Radiance and Daisy Ducati will join a moderated discussion exploring the difference between storytelling that is collaborative and accountable versus storytelling that is extractive and harmful. Attendees will leave with practical frameworks developed by sex workers for critically analyzing media representation—tools rarely offered in mainstream conversations about film and ethics.

“Sex workers are constantly the subject of media, rarely the authors of it. This event is about changing that. We’re not asking permission to be represented ethically. We’re building the standard ourselves.”  ~ AM Davies, Founder, YAS Work

The panel will challenge audiences to ask harder questions of the media they consume: Who created this story? Whose voice is centered? Who benefits from it being told? Topics will include common media tropes and their impact, the role of personal bias in interpreting sex work on screen, and what authentic, community-led representation actually looks like.

This event is the first in a larger series of programming YAS Work is developing around ethical media, which may include expanded roundtables, collaborations with aligned media organizations, and a Sex Worker Media Club. The main event sponsor is Evolved Fights.
