Nina Nova starts 2026 off busy, with award nominations, new scenes, her new Youtube series launching later this year, and now a BBC original documentary
LAS VEGAS, NV.—Rising star Nina Nova was featured in a BBC Original documentary titled, “Sin City: The Real Las Vegas.” Investigative journalist Tir Dhondy set out to see what Vegas is like beyond the glitz and the glam – and to see the ways the city’s rebrand is leaving behind the very people that make Vegas so very magical in the first place.
In her segment in episode 2, Nova speaks to her start in the adult entertainment industry as a cam girl, what it’s like providing companionship in Sin City, and shares some of the realities that sex workers face under criminalization.
The documentary later shares about the battle for prosecutorial immunity in Nevada, which failed in 2025 due to law enforcement opposition. Prosecutorial immunity would have granted criminal immunity to those engaging in illegal sex work when reporting a medical emergency or a crime.
“Sex worker representation in media matters, and to get the chance to share my story on a global stage – the significance of that is not lost on me. I hope my story illuminates the realities that – in particular – full service sex workers face, and the importance of us porn performers’ allyship to all our erotic laborer siblings.”
“Sin City: The Real Las Vegas” is streaming on BBC IPlayer now.
