Chlamydia Urine: Positivity Index Overall, the three Chlamydia Urine rates show a similar behavior through time, including the steady downward trend from the November 2022 peak. In January 2026, the total and male rates are at 1.1%; the former is up from 1.0% and the latter went down from 1.2%, while the female rate turned up to 1.2% from 0.7%. Seeing that historic levels have been around 2.0%, the current rates being below 2.0% can be considered to be within expectations.
GC (Gonorrhea) Urine Positivity Index In January 2026, the total gonorrhea urine rate turned up to 0.4% from 0.3%, the male rate dipped again to 0.3% from 0.4%, and the female rate went up again to 0.6% from 0.3%. In this month the three rates stayed around the linear trend.
Trichomonas Vaginalis Urine- Positivity Index In January 2026, two of the Trichomonas vaginalis urine rates decreased, the total rate to 0.3% from 0.5% and the female rate to 0.5% from 1.0%; the male rate remains unchanged at 0.2%. The current rate levels are still within the general range of 0.0% to 1.5%.
Mycoplasma Genitalium Urine Positivity Index In January 2026, as in the prior month, all the Mycoplasma G. Urine rates increased, the Female rate to 3.4% from 3.1%, the Total rate to 2.8% from 2.6%, and the Male rate to 2.3% from 2.1%.
Chlamydia & GC (Gonorrhea) Throat and Rectal Swabs: Positivity Index Based on market activity, the positivity rates for the four tests below have December 2022 as a relevant starting point where all levels display their peak and then start overall downward trends. In January 2026, the three Chlamydia rectal rates turned up, the total rate to 1.5% from 1.1%, the female rate to 1.8% from 1.5%, and the male rate to 1.3% from 0.7%. For the three Chlamydia throat rates that were at 0.5% last month, the total rate is unchanged, the male rate is down to 0.3%, and the female rate is up to 0.7%. Although within an overall smaller range of 0.0% to 3.5%, when compared to the other swab rates, the volatility of the Gonorrhea Rectal lines is visible since April 2023; however, in January 2026, the female rate is unchanged at 0.5%, while the male and total rates both drop to 0.4% from 0.5%. The Gonorrhea Throat rates have two moving down: the total rate to 0.8% from 0.9% and the male rate to 0.6% from 1.1%, while the female rate is up to 1.0% from 0.6%.
